Accounting Society
The Accounting Society(opens in new window) (AS) brings accounting students, professors, and professionals together in business and social environments in order to enhance the skills and knowledge that are necessary to become successful in the field of accounting. We will give you the opportunity to meet recruiters on a first name basis and get your name out in the business world. You will meet people from the top four accounting firms in the US, local CPA firms, government agencies, and accounting departments from large corporations that are eager to meet the future of their company. Along with learning more and having fun, being a part of AS looks great on your resume.
American Marketing Association
The Chico State Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association(opens in new window) (AMA) is a leading organization on campus for professional development and hands-on marketing experience. They are part of the larger international AMA professional organization which allows them to utilize resources that are not available to other collegiate clubs. As a collegiate chapter of a professional organization, AMA is the perfect resume builder for students focusing on all areas of business, marketing and communications.
Association for Women in Business
The mission of the Association for Women in Business(opens in new window) (AWIB) is to empower women through networking and education to take on leadership roles. They provide opportunities for personal growth and advancements in diverse occupations. Most importantly, AWIB strives to achieve equality for women in business.
Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi(opens in new window) (BAP) is an international honorary organization for Accounting students. BAP promotes the study and practice of accounting, provides opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encourages a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
Business Information Systems Society
The mission of the Business Informations Systems Society(opens in new window) (BIS Society) is to provide students with a way to gain information about industry leaders by meeting directly with company representatives. Guest speakers include faculty, industry leaders, and company recruiters on topics such as employment opportunities, interviewing and resume techniques, course selection, and upcoming events in the academic world. The BIS Society is about networking, learning and having fun.
Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization
The Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization(opens in new window) (CEO) is designed to inspire, motivate and educate the entrepreneurs of Chico State in order to create more opportunities for success. The organization's mission is to provide resources and networking opportunities necessary to foster entrepreneurship, enabling young professionals to launch their ideas by developing and executing new ventures.
Delta Sigma Pi
Delta Sigma Pi(opens in new window) (DSP) is an international co-ed professional business fraternity focused in the field of business, construction management and economics. Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. They have a network of more than 245,000 members from all around the world.
The purpose of the club is to advance student understanding of financial planning as an industry, support career opportunities for financial planning, and connect California State University Chico students to the financial planning industry.
Graduate Business Association
The Graduate Business Association(opens in new window) (GBA) is dedicated to providing graduate business students at Chico State with rewarding educational and social opportunities. Founded in 1977 as the MBA Association, it was renamed to the Graduate Business Association in 1986.
Investor's Club

Their goal is to provide Chico State students with real world experience in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management by bringing them together with alumni and connecting them with large, prosperous employers.
