Business Advisory Board members

The Business Advisory Board is designed to support the Dean of the College of Business by providing strategic guidance to keep the College’s programs aligned with current marketplace needs and realities, supporting the academic and professional success of students, advancing the College’s strategic priorities, and extending the College’s influence, network and funders.  Board members are selected by the Dean and generally serve one or two 3-year terms.  For more information, please contact the Dean’s Office at 530-898-6272.


Tony Abramo

Tony Abramo

Chairman & CEO, NARO

Tony Abramo (BS, Business Administration, '75) is the chairman and CEO at NARO (North American Restaurant Operations). Abramo has co-founded two successful semiconductor sales companies that have generated over $550 million in annual sales. Products these companies represented have included Intel, IBM, Motorola/On-Semiconductor, Hitachi, ST Micro, Microchip and S3. His great success within the technology industry and his leadership in development and sales ultimately lead him to ownership and a personal investment into restaurants, redevelopment projects, and resort hotels in the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe.


Keith Bewley

President, NEx Systems

Keith Bewley (BS, Business Administration, '78) is the co-founder of California Coolers, a company that sparked a national wine cooler craze in the 1980s. Bewley worked at the company until 1985, when the company was sold for $180 million, then co-founded LINC Venture Partners, Inc., which specialized in analyzing business plans and funding start-up companies. He is currently present of NEx Systems, which provides organic, environmentally safe dry cleaning and fabric protection to Fortune 500 companies and residential properties.

Aaron Colton (BS, Business Administration, '82) is the founder, president, and CEO of ICS-Integration, and the former CEO of of two systems integration companies including Ceitronics and ICS. Colton has more than 30 years experience in the technology/systems integrations/telecommunications sector. He has an excellent reputation as an exceptional and straightforward manager and people-person who inspires respect, trust, loyalty, and performance and establishes a company culture that motivates all players.


Senator Bill Dodd

Senator, Senate District 3

Bill Dodd (BS, Business Administration, '78) was elected in 2016 to represent California’s 3rd Senate District, and is a fifth-generation Californian and lifelong resident of the district, where he grew up on a small family farm in Napa County. Dodd serves as the chair of the Governmental Organization Committee and is a member of the Transportation Committee, the Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee and the Insurance Committee. He is co-chair of the Senate Select Committee on California’s Wine Industry and is a member of the Legislative Delta Caucus. Prior to his time in elected office, Dodd owned and operated one of the largest full-service Culligan Water operations in California, and served as president of the water quality industry’s state and national trade associations.

Rob Donoho (BS, Business Administration, '84) is Vice President, Supply Chain at E & J Gallo Winery. Donoho responsible for supply chain planning, sourcing, co-manufacturing, quality assurance, warehouse, logistics, customer service, new products process, and demand forecasting. Donoho joined Gallo in 1994 and has held progressive positions both within Gallo Winery and its distributors. Donoho earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a Computer Science minor from Chico State and an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University. His vision for the future is that Gallo becomes a fully global company with a supply chain that is integrated from suppliers to the retail shelf.


Rand Hutchison

Rand Hutchison (MS, Business Administration, '77) is a serial entrepreneur with keen interest in technology. His most recent venture was Travidia, Inc. that he co-founded in 2000, led as President and CEO until recently, then sold. Rand is an active contributor to Chico's entrepreneurial ecosystem and has shared that knowledge and experience by teaching in the College of Business for the last few years.


Prabhakar (PK) Kalavacherla

Prabhakar (PK) Kalavacherla

Partner, KPMG, LLP

Prabhakar Kalavacherla (MSA, Accountancy, '93) is KPMG’s global IFRS revenue recognition leader. He is primarily responsible for leading the development of KPMG’s guidance on the new joint revenue standard, helping to promote global consistency. Kalavacherla was a member of the International Accounting Standards Board for five years. A partner at KPMG in the US, he also serves on the US board of Akshaya Patra, a not-for-profit organization which aims to fight child malnutrition in India.

Anne Sena (BS, Business Administration – MIS & POM '97) is the Director of Technology at St. David's School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sena brings her expertise and experience from 18 years at Cisco to make progressive impacts on the use of technology at the school through strategic decision-making and being a strong member of the school leadership team. Sena has executed strategies across five continents to elevate business ROI through process and service transformation and client enablement excellence. She has made a career of leading teams through complex strategic technology transformations and driving change throughout global organizations. Sena's passion for education and giving back can be seen through her existing Chico State scholarship, the Anne H. Burns Business Information Systems Scholarship.

Luke Seufferlein (BS, Business Administration, '09) is the director of Rubicon Point Partners, LLC, a San Francisco-based commercial real estate investment company that invests and manages unique office buildings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Seufferlein was previously a broker at Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank, after receiving his degree at CSU, Chico.


Marti Sutton

Commissioner, City of Livermore, Human Services Commission

Marti Sutton (BS, Business Administration, '92) is the chairperson for Las Positas College Foundation in Livermore, as well as the commissioner for Human Services Commission for the City of Livermore. Sutton has over 24 years of experience working in upper management level positions including working as the president at BayKids in San Francisco, and the director of financial planning at Learning Network in San Francisco.

Glen Thomas (BS, Business Administration, '83) is a founder and partner at TYS, LLP, a full service CPA firm with offices in Walnut Creek, CA and Fairport, NY. Thomas helps guide businesses and their shareholders including acquisitions, dispositions and other transitions while focusing on the goals and needs of all parties. Thomas began his career in accounting upon graduation with Jones, Henle & Schunck (formerly Jones & Marzluft) in Danville, California and rose to be the managing partner in 2005. He left in 2007 to form TY, LLP. In 2010 TY merged and became TYS, LLP. Thomas satisfies his passion for education through participation as a committee member and co-chair of the CalCPA Society Accounting Education Committee.
