The Information Systems, Finance and Accounting Department (ISFA) focuses on courses leading to undergraduate degrees in both business administration and business information systems.

SAP UCC LogoOne of the strengths of the Information Systems program at Chico State is that we are a leading ERP-based business program. In 1996, Chico State became SAP’s first university partner in North America in what would later become the SAP University Alliance Program(opens in new window). Leading universities and their business partners worldwide recognize the ERP-based pedagogy provided at Chico State as a current best practice.

The College of Business and the ISFA Department operate one of six global SAP University Competence Centers. The Chico academic hosting operation serves the needs of more than 170 universities throughout North and South America and more than 100,000 students annually. The hosting operation is a major operation housed under the Center for Enterprise Systems and Informatics Research.
