Campus-Based and Online MBA Programs

Our MBA program is offered as a campus-based or online MBA(opens in new window) program and offers four degree options:

• General MBA (campus and online)
• Enterprise Information Systems - now a STEM Degree (campus only)
• Project Management (campus and online)
• Health Services Administration (online only)

Program Similarities 

1. Same AACSB-accredited degree.
2. Same degree requirements and curriculum.
3. GRE/GMAT waived.
4. Faculty engage students with case study, lecture, and project work to elevate graduate student's competitive edge for career advancement.
5. Transcripts from both programs simply state that you have an MBA from Chico State. 

Program Differences

Campus-Based MBA

1. Three degree options:
   • General MBA
   • Project Management
   • Enterprise Information Systems
2. Offers more choices for elective course selection.
3. On-campus classes (depending on COVID-19 restrictions).
4. Welcomes International Students from all over the world.
   • International Education and Global Engagement
   • International Application
5. Semester long courses with frequent interaction with faculty face-to-face on a weekly basis.
6. MBA degree may be completed in two years.

Online MBA

1. Three degree options:
   • General MBA
   • Project Management
   • Health Services Administration(opens in new window)
2. 100% online and fully asynchronous.
3. Most courses are 6 weeks in length. 
4. FAST (Focused. Applied. Strategic Training) Elective Courses: 3 weeks in length; 1.5 units each
5. Typically completed in 18-23 months.
6. Engaging, optional live session each week.
