The College of Business values the experience students get while being part of a student organization. There are a variety of ways to fund organization activities including fundraising, membership fees, and Instructional Related Activity grants. Occasionally, student organizations need a little extra support to add value to their members co-curricular resume, or desire to embark on a larger, cross-club activity that benefits members from a variety of business clubs. This grant is made possible for currently recognized College of Business student organizations wishing to:

  • Implement a special activity that involves other clubs and organizations

  • Participate in a national competition for which IRA funding was not available

  • Facilitate the academic, personal, or professional growth of their members

  • Enhance their co-curricular experience

  • Support growth in their academic discipline

  • Exposes them to current trends in their field of study

The Special Activity Club Grant can be used to reimburse various expenses, including, but not limited to

  • Conference registration fees

  • Transportation

  • Lodging

  • Hospitality for a special event

  • Support for a special, nonrecurring activity
