Schedules for tutors and mentors are posted on the bulletin board directly across from the BSSC.


Center for Entrepreneurship

CFE students showcase their smart card project as part of a special projects class.At the heart of the Center’s mission is a commitment to help young entrepreneurs make the great leap from idea to reality. Whether a social venture, web-based business or a start-up based on an idea from another field, the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management option can teach you to manage risk and launch new enterprises. 


Center for Excellence in Finance

From the practical areas of behavioral and personal finance to the academic understanding of markets and corporate finance, the CEF strives to further our knowledge in the field.


Center for Enterprise Systems and Informatics Research

BSIS students study together on a laptop in the Chico State library.The future of business will be driven by data and analysis, and global competitive pressures driving effective and efficient business processes and systems. Using best practices, state of the art software, and leading-edge technologies, CESIR supports research designed to develop new ways to drive cost, time, and risk out of global business processes. 


Professional Accounting Program

Students who pursue an accounting option are trained to succeed in the accounting profession. We find that the "fast track" to any career in accounting - whether that be public, private, or governmental accounting–usually begins with job placement at a CPA firm upon graduation and earning the CPA.

Students in professional consulting class.Students seeking an exciting career in professional consulting will gain invaluable support in attaining their career goals by complementing their major with the College of Business' newest offering, the Professional Consulting Certificate. Geared towards training students wishing to join reputable consulting agencies, the certificate program is open to all students from across the university from any discipline.
