Customized faculty-led study abroad programs(opens in new window) are credit-bearing, proposed by Chico State faculty, and developed in collaboration with International Education & Global Engagement (IEGE), Professional & Continuing Education (PCE), and competitive service providers.
Fulbright Scholar Program:
With over 400 awards annually in over 135 countries, faculty can explore opportunities to teach, conduct research, and carry out professional projects through Fulbright(opens in new window).
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service):
DAAD(opens in new window) works to foster connections between scholars and institutions in North America and their counterparts in Germany by offering a number of programs to strengthen the links between academics in Germany and North America.
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL):
COIL(opens in new window) is a way to link faculty and students across the world to deepen global engagement, cultural perspectives, and increase educational impact within current course offerings.
Visiting Professor:
Chico State Faculty have the unique opportunity to support the University Studies Abroad Consortium(opens in new window) (USAC) mission and internationalize their perspectives and Chico State by teaching abroad for a summer term as a Visiting Professors (VPs). The application and selection process occurs a year prior to the summer term.
