If you are choosing to go abroad for a semester or year on an outside (non-affiliated) program you MUST take a Planned Educational Leave (PEL) from the university before you go. If you do not, the university will revoke your admission and you will have to re-apply to Chico State upon your return.
The PEL form is available on the Student Records & Registration(opens in new window) page (on the "Forms(opens in new window)" tab), or you can go in person to Student Services Center 110.
Be sure you have met with a Study Abroad & Exchange Advisor and submitted all the necessary paperwork prior to doing this. For more info, visit here.
